The IBSL is a multifaceted forensic private practice comprised of three primary divisions. The Forensic Services Division is dedicated to providing comprehensive, objective, and understandable forensic evaluations related to a wide range of psycho-legal issues, including criminal, civil, and family law matters. The evaluations are conducted by a team of highly trained forensic psychologists with the skill and objectivity that is critical to forensic evaluation services. The Training/Education Division offers training to lawyers, judges, and law enforcement officers on topics such as Competency to Proceed evaluations, stalking, child witnesses, and various other mental health issues related to the legal system. The Publishing Division offers a variety of printed materials on specialized forensic topics, including booklets to help determine a child’s competency to testify, interview forms for use in child sexual abuse cases, anatomically detailed drawings for use in sexual abuse investigations, and lecture CDs.
