He is fortunate enough to come to America in 1954 at ten years old by way of Ellis Island.He begins his journey of chasing the American dream in New Jersey and through,Allentown PA,to Stone Mountain GA, San Ramon CA, and end up in Gilbert AZ.
Although many horrific events present themselves to Franco,not once does he feel sorry for himself or make excuses for some of his failures.
Once you pick up this book you will not be able to put it down till complete.Even then you will go back and reread a number of passages.This book will bring much laughter as well as tears but no doubt it will be memorable.
The writer is sticking to his word and personalizing each copy of the books that he is sending to his readers and he has enjoyed the response from the new friends who have loved this unusual memoir.
