Hall Elected President of the Puget Sound Chapter of the American Marketing Association

The Puget Sound Chapter of the American Marketing Association (PSAMA) has elected Katherine Hall president for the 2008-09 term. The PSAMA, a professional marketing organization with nearly 600 members in the Puget Sound region, is focused on promoting, supporting and improving the marketing industry and its professionals.

Hall will provide leadership and collaborate with Chapter Vice presidents to establish the organization’s yearly goals and strategies, as well as oversee the PSAMA’s budget and finances. PSAMA’s programs for local marketing professionals include monthly luncheons that feature speakers from across the nation, networking socials, and MarketSmart, an annual one-day seminar for marketing professionals.

Hall has nearly 20 years of experience in marketing, marketing communications and public relations. Currently a senior account manager for Parker LePla, she helps organizations achieve their goals through creating and living stronger brands. Established in 1994, Parker LePla offers branding and communication services to health care, high tech, non-profit and other industries. Clients Hall serves include: Seattle Public Utilities, South Puget Sound Community College, Philips Healthcare, The Beryl Companies and more.

Before joining the team at Parker LePla, Katherine devised strategies and executed comprehensive marketing and public relations plans for Loyola University Health System, the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, City of Hope National Medical Center and The Menninger Clinic. She has led local and national marketing and public relations initiatives to raise awareness about various issues, including cancer research, women’s mental health issues, depression and spinal cord injuries.
