New York - In August, 2005, G21:The World's Magazine began a series of special reports on the underreported issues that have arisen during the global HIV/AIDS pandemic. The first article in the series was produce by Aamena Jiwaji, "The ABCs of a Pandemic," a Kenya writer. The second, "Black Women and the Pandemic: An American Disgrace," by Raheem, is the second in what promises to be a continuing series.

"We're trying to touch on issues that haven't gotten the coverage they deserve," say Rod Amis, Editor of G21. "We believe the best way to do this is to bring our best reporters from around the world to the topic."

The series, which began this month, has not been given a specific end-date.
