Big trouble is on the way for the organizations that got audited.

More and more identity theives are finding it as easy as turning on an old computer to get enough information to loot your bank account.

It is also easy to find these old computers in thrift shops, garage sales and even in the trash.

"Anybody could handle the proper destruction of the private personal data," said Phil Kuhlenbeck, CEO of scrapitout.com a Texas based computer disposal and recycling company that specilizes in data destruction.

"It's really a what you don't know, can hurt you sitution when a person has their identity stolen. Most people are just not aware they need to make sure all their personal information is 100% destroyed before discarding their old computer", Kuhlenbeck noted.

Kuhlenbeck also encourages everyone to find out how easy it is to remove data 100%. You can do it yourself for free in some cases.
