Anderson Analytics' Innovative Approach to Text Mining Recognized at World Market Research Conference on Innovation

Stamford, CT July 2, 2008 - Interest in text mining and text analytics has been increasing dramatically in the past few years. Stamford Connecticut market research firm Anderson Analytics, the first full service consultancy to offer ad-hoc text analytics as a service, received a nomination last week for best research paper of the year at the World Research Organization's (ESOMAR) Innovate 2008 Conference, a conference specifically intended to aid and inspire innovations in the research field.

The nomination of Anderson's paper is evidence of the growing importance of text analytics globally. The paper which was presented by Tom H. C. Anderson in Copenhagen Denmark last week, illustrated the use of text analytics methodology developed and used by Anderson Analytics over the past four years.

"I'm delighted and honored that our paper was selected and very glad the research community is beginning to recognize the importance of this technology" said Mr. Anderson "I think AA-Text and our technique of validating text analytics is a great way for fortune 1000 companies to leverage the technology. Next week on July 9 at 5:30 8:00pm, Mr. Anderson will be speaking on "Text Analytics for Competitive Intelligence and Market Research" at the University of Connecticut, Stamford. The event is sponsored by SCIP (Society of competitive Intelligence Professionals) and is open to both University of Connecticut Students and the general public. Cost to SCIP members is $35, $45.00 to non-members, and $20.00 for Students.

Anderson Analytics is next scheduled to speak in Europe at the largest marketing conference in Stockholm Sweden, "Tendensdagen", on October 23 2008.
