2005 Nova Scotia Lacrosse All Star Game

The first annual 2005 All-Star game takes place Wednesday night August 10 at 8:00 pm at Bowles Arena, Dartmouth. Known as the fastest game on two feet the 2005 All-Star game will be a showcase of the best junior and senior lacrosse players in Nova Scotia. The game will be a warm-up for the 25 lacrosse players that will represent Nova Scotia at the Founders Cup Junior National Box Lacrosse Championships being held this year in Saskatoon August 23-30.

The game will be fast, hard-hitting with lots of action around the net. The game is a warm-up for our Provincial Junior Team and what they can expect at the Founders Cup. Game two for the championship of the Midget Summer Lacrosse League will takes place at 6:30pm.

The game will bring together the best lacrosse players ever assembled in Nova Scotia and the All-Star game is a testament to Nova Scotia’s coming of age on the North America Box Lacrosse scene. Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in North America and is growing 12% to 15% per year in Nova Scotia.
