Indxit Systems appoints creator of DocuTrak ™ and former Kryptiq executive Sam Shapiro to the board of directors

Dallas, Texas. July 24, 2008 – Indxit Systems, the leading provider of automated document indexing technologies, announced today that Sam Shapiro, formerly with Kryptiq Corporation, has joined the Indxit Systems board of directors. Sam will draw on his experience as creator and architect of DocuTrak, to help guide the development of InDxLogic – an automated document indexing system used in conjunction with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as GE's Centricity ® EMR.

"When it came to selecting a board member to direct further development of InDxLogic, Sam was the obvious choice" said Michael Ebaugh, MD, founder of Indxit Systems. "Sam brings a wide range of talent and expertise to our company and he is a perfect fit for us."

"After spending nearly a decade creating and developing indexing systems, I am convinced that InDxLogic's patent-pending, auto-indexing technology is the future of document indexing" said Sam Shapiro. "It takes indexing to a whole new level. It works seamlessly with DocuTrak and other indexing solutions and does for document indexing what internet-banking has done for personal finance. It replaces a traditionally labor-intensive manual process with a highly efficient and accurate automated process. Any clinic or organization dealing with high volumes of scanning and indexing will see an almost immediate ROI by adding InDxLogic to their existing indexing solution."

Today, healthcare organizations are inundated with documents from a variety of disparate sources – emails, faxes, forms, handwritten notes, patient questionnaires, etc. – and the information within those documents is unstructured. This unstructured data presents a challenge to healthcare organizations working with EMR systems. Traditional indexing systems require that this data be manually indexed into the EMR – a very costly and labor intensive process. InDxLogic is different. Using its patent-pending technology, InDxLogic replaces this manual process with a fully automated indexing process, drastically lowering labor costs and boosting productivity.
