iProperty.com Singapore Launches Free Property Alerts
August 19, 2008 (PRLEAP.COM) Business NewsiProperty.com.sg, Singapore's leading online property and real estate portal, has introduced Property Alerts - a free email alert service, to keep members updated on their choice HDB flats, condos and office space.
Property Alerts is a free service which sends iProperty.com.sg members daily property email alerts. All members have to do is fill in a simple search alert form and indicate the type (e.g. condominiums), location/district and price range of the property they are interested in. Based on this information, they will receive an email alert as soon as a property which meets their criteria becomes available on the market.
Said Patrick Grove, Executive Chairman of the iProperty.com Group, "This service is especially pertinent for time-pressed working professionals looking to buy a home and who do not have the luxury of trawling through countless property listings. With this alert service, suitable properties will be shortlisted for them, saving them precious time and effort."
"Everyone knows how hard it is to come by a property which fits your requirements to a tee, so with property alerts, home buyers can now avoid a situation where their dream home is snapped up by someone else. Being in the know and having access to the most up-to-date property information means you enjoy first-mover advantage, which is crucial in securing a good deal," he added.
The rationale for using an email alert service stems from a recent Asia Property Trends Survey conducted by the iProperty.com Group, which clearly indicates that the Internet is now the favourite medium for property hunting, across Asia.
Property Alerts is the newest of many features which are currently available on the iProperty.com property network. Since its inception last year, iProperty.com has enhanced the overall user-friendliness of its website with the introduction of features such as Google Maps, which enables home buyers to view a property in relation to its surroundings. These ongoing website enhancements are in line with iProperty.com's vision of establishing itself as the easiest and smartest way to search for property in Asia.
The iProperty.com Group also recently acquired Keagen Group Sdn Bhd, which will enable further domination in the property media space in the region, as well as provide cross-promotional and cross-selling opportunities.
iProperty.com.sg is Singapore's online property and real estate portal, and a member of iProperty.com. The portal features comprehensive local information and listings for HDB flats, private apartments and commercial/office space.
iProperty.com is Asia's leading network of property portals, with over 750,000 unique users every month. The Group operates consumer and business online property portals in the markets of Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Philippines, with a Heads of Agreement in place to acquire an online property portal in Thailand.
iProperty.com has an average of over 100,000 property listings available on its network daily, and is used by more than 4,000 real estate agents and 100 developers. With further expansion planned, iProperty.com is continuously working to capitalise on its market-leading positions and the rapidly growing online property advertising market throughout the region. iProperty.com is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Australian Stock Exchange-listed IPGA Limited (www.ipgalimited.com), (ASX: IPP).
