August 26, 2008 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
New York, NY – August 26, 2008 – Paltalk, the leading real-time, video-based community with over four million active members, today announced their inclusion on Inc. Magazine's top 5000 list of fastest-growing, privately-owned companies in the United States. Honorees are chosen based on revenue growth from 2004-2007. This is the second time that Paltalk has appeared on the list in as many years.

During 2007, Paltalk launched a number of new initiatives, including PaltalkScene, a suite of originally-produced shows featuring content ranging from sports, music, entertainment and politics. These programs have allowed Paltalk users to interact with guests and hosts directly through live video chat. To date, PaltalkScene has featured top celebrities, athletes and entertainment personalities such as JoJo, William Shatner, Slash, Plaxico Burress, Kiefer Sutherland and David Duchovny.

"To be included again on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list is tremendous validation of not only our business model, but the value of our socialcasting service to our members," said Joel Smernoff, President and COO of Paltalk. "This is another step towards taking our service to the next level, and we expect to bring on top celebrities and add new shows to our socialcasting platform, and partner with even more leading media and entertainment organizations in the future."

This recognition continues to build on the positive momentum the company achieved with their recent announcements and product launches, including the beta release of PaltalkExpress, a Flash-based version of the Paltalk service which allows users to access the video chat platform from anywhere, regardless of location or browser used. Paltalk has also announced partnerships with major media companies like Radio America, XM Radio, and Island Def Jam/Mercury Records.
