Irving, Texas—August 12, 2005: KRLD-AM and nationally syndicated radio talk host Mike
Gallagher is hosting a rally to support President Bush that will be departing for Crawford this afternoon at 3:00pm, leaving from the Salem Radio Network in Las Colinas.

"There are now said to be around 50 anti-war protesters joining Cindy Sheehan, the mother of a slain soldier in Iraq, outside President Bush's ranch in Crawford", Gallagher said. "I think we can get at least 50 Texans to join me to support the war on terror", he said. "While we honor
Ms. Sheehan's son and respect her right to express her beliefs, many of us feel she is dead wrong to say that the president 'killed (her) son' and that we should pull out of Iraq — so, we're going to Crawford to show the president we support him and Operation Iraqi Freedom."

Gallagher came up with the idea during this morning's "Mike Gallagher Show" and made all the arrangements and preparations on-air with the assistance of listeners who have volunteered to travel to Crawford with him, are offering their services to volunteer, have donated catered food, or made a contribution to Gallagher's foundation, "Gallagher's Army" which benefits the troops and their families.

Supporters will meet at Salem Network Radio, 6400 N. Beltline Rd., Irving (just off 114) for a 3:00pm departure this afternoon. One motor coach has already been filled with listeners who have reserved a seat on the bus and others are encouraged to drive behind the bus, joining a convoy of patriotic vehicles that will be pulling out at 3:00pm.

In Crawford, the group will hold a Pro-America rally at 6:00pm in the protest area on Prairie Chapel Rd in Crawford, near the president's ranch. There will be cheering, singing of patriotic songs, speeches and fellowship between Americans who support our efforts in Iraq and all over the world.

Gallagher said that this event is going to be a positive, uplifting attempt to show support for America's soldiers, their families, and our commander-in-chief. "This rally isn't about criticizing
Ms. Sheehan or the other anti-war protesters", Gallagher said. "We're just turning their negative comments into a positive display of patriotism," he said.

The Mike Gallagher Show can be heard on over 200 radio stations daily. Gallagher is also a
frequent Guest Host/Contributor on Fox News. Gallagher formed The Mike Gallagher Show
Charitable Foundation (“Gallagher’s Army”) in response to his listener’s support of charitable causes he often mentioned on his radio show. Gallagher’s Army has helped send over 70,000 “gift boxes” to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
