Daybreak Counseling Service contract to provide anger managment classes is renewed by recovery foundation

Miriam's House a sober living home for women and children has renewed its contract with Daybreak Counseling Service. Miriam's House, is a 15 bedroom converted convent located in Culver City, California. It is a recovery home for mothers and a refuge for children to escape chaos and instability. The yearlong program nurtures the individual needs of both mother and child while fostering the healing process of fractured families.

Daybreak Counseling Service, a nationally recognized center for anger management successfully administered a 12 week anger management course for residents at Miriam's House. The course focused on effective communication, stress management, and forgiveness with a special emphasis on managing parental anger.

Staff and residents at Miriam's House have described the anger management classes as a stabilizing force in the facility and the lives of its residents. Consequently, Miriam's House's current Director has requested 12 more weeks of programming for their clients.

Daybreak Counseling Service continues to provide anger management courses for couples, adolescents and individuals in Los Angeles and surrounding cities. Shannon Munford, the owner of Daybreak Counseling Service continues to expand his national reach through his nation-wide telephone coaching and television appearances on such shows as Decision House and MTV-Real World Hollywood.
