BOCA RATON, Fla. – Mizner Park will host Holiday Nights on the Town, a free-to-the-public, month-long celebration, with festive entertainment from music to magic, along with visits by Santa and his Miami Dolphin Cheerleader elves through December 20.

The holiday kick-off is Thursday, December 4, 6-9 p.m. at the center fountain with live music, complimentary tastings from Mizner Park restaurants, the latest fashions from Mizner Park shops and an exhibition throughout the park of four monumental sculptures by Italian artist Rabarama. An additional ten works will be installed in the Boca Raton Museum of Art. Addison Gallery will host a first look at their 7th Annual Small Works Exhibit and a wine tasting, and Nine West will host a Girls Night Out with store-wide sale and refreshments.

On Friday evenings December 5, 12 and 19 from 6-9 p.m., the imaginative street theater magic of the House of Flying Cards troupe, strolling carolers and musicians will highlight the holiday season. The magicians' feats range from turning fire into chocolate to levitating jewelry, among other memorable moments.

On Saturday evenings, December 6, 13 and 20 from 6 to 9 p.m., Mizner Park invites visitors to jazz up their holidays, with a concert series at the gazebo. Guests are invited to bring their cameras for holiday photos with Santa and the Miami Dolphins Cheerleader elves, who will be on hand with candy canes and official Dolphin Cheerleader photos.

The Saturday jazz concert lineup features:
Saturday, December 6 – The Cheryl Fisher Quintet, with jazz saxophonist Eric Allison. Originally from Canada, jazz vocalist Fisher is a long-time local and national favorite, who regularly performs at the Montreal Jazz Festival.
Saturday, December 13 - The Dixieland Ramblers, a Dixieland revival jazz ensemble, will take center stage for a spirited evening.
Saturday, December 20 - Eddie Higgins with the Wonderland Swing Band. Higgins' versatility is well-known: a pianist and arranger, he has worked in every jazz medium from Dixieland to Modern Jazz. He recently returned from his annual tour of Japan and Korea.

Visitors to the Holiday Nights On the Town programs also can register to win a Mizner Park shopping spree basket.

"Holiday Nights on the Town are a great way to experience the season in a relaxed and festive venue. We hope everyone will come out to stroll Mizner Park, visit our shops and restaurants, and catch Santa for a unique photo opportunity," said Beth Hendrick, Mizner Park marketing manager.
