(Redwood City, CA) December 18, 2008: All Covered - the only nationwide information technology (IT) services partner focused on enabling the success of small businesses - announces The Banff School of Houston, Texas as the grand prize winner of the Xtreme IT Makeover Contest that has a total prize value exceeding $30,000.

The Xtreme IT Makeover Contest was created as a way for All Covered to celebrate its 10-year anniversary and give back to the community we serve in a significant way to pay it forward. "After 10 successful years in business, we wanted to use our expertise in technology and make a difference in another organization," said Tim Mott, CEO of All Covered.

The Banff School was selected from dozens of contestants who had to complete a short application about why they deserved the makeover, the state of their current environment and how they would use the technology to impact their organization. The Banff School was selected because of their dedication to quality education, their vision of how technology will assist in the learning process and their outreach programs.

The Banff School a non-profit, independent private day school in Northwest Harris County that educates students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The school annually gives approximately $90,000 in scholarships to Houston area students. The student body is culturally diverse, with a population of students from many different countries who are fluent in various languages.

"We are thrilled to have been selected as All Covered's grand prize winner," said Deborah Wasser, Principal. "We are very grateful to the sponsors and All Covered. We plan to use the server as a repository for student projects and homework. Collaboration and enhanced communications will be part of the makeover and we'll be greatly enhancing the security of the school's network. The computers and technology help students learn difficult to understand concepts through graphical examples and visualization. There are so many things we'll be able to do that we couldn't because of the lack of resources. We feel like The Banff School is getting an early holiday present."

Gold sponsors of the contest included well known companies such as Dell, Microsoft, Symantec, Iron Mountain and InFocus. HP and SonicWALL were silver sponsors. All Covered worked with its partners and vendors to secure a variety of equipment, including desktop and laptop computers, a server, software, laser printer, firewall, LCD projector, and security and off-site backup services. All Covered is providing the project planning and labor to install the equipment plus on-going support services.

All the prizes will be presented to the faculty and students of The Banff School at their campus on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at 10 am.
