BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Dec. 19, 2008 Alan J. Fuerstman, Founder and CEO of Montage Hotels & Resorts, announced today the opening of Montage Beverly Hills, the company's long-awaited second luxury hotel. The company's flagship property, Montage Laguna Beach, opened in 2003.

Montage Beverly Hills is a California hotel that opened its doors to the public on November 17, 2008. This property is the first new luxury hotel in Beverly Hills to be built in more than 16 years. Set in the city's "golden triangle," just steps from world-class Beverly Hills dining and shopping, the striking Spanish Colonial Revival design of the property celebrates the rich past of Beverly Hills. Legacy artisans hand-crafted many of the details and a curator-assembled art collection showcases Hollywood's golden age. The two-level Spa Montage offers holistic treatments by the country's most rigorously accredited staff.

Guestrooms & Suites
The 201 richly appointed guest rooms, including 55 suites, range from 500 to 5,000 square feet and offer stunning city and foothill views from expansive windows and private balconies. Rich interiors reflect Beverly Hills' glamour estates of the 1920s and 1930s and are paired with the latest in technology, such as convenient bedside panels and LCD televisions in the generous marble bathrooms.

Spa Montage
Influenced by Moroccan and Moorish design, the sumptuous two-level, 20,000-square-foot Spa Montage features 17 treatment rooms, a spacious fitness facility, yoga and Pilates studio and a full-service hair and beauty salon.
Signature treatments include the "Surrender" experience that was originally introduced at Montage Laguna Beach. In Beverly Hills, this personalized menu of services tailored by expert staff for each individual guest will draw upon custom rituals inspired by water, earth and the botanical abundance of orchards.

Fine Dining
Under the direction of Executive Chef John Cuevas, who most recently served as Chef de Cuisine at The Loft at Montage Laguna Beach, three restaurants offer fine dining in Beverly Hills and provide a wealth of unique pairings and signature dishes produced with California's finest seasonal ingredients and artisanal products.

Parq, the 88-seat restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casually elegant environment with views of the luxury hotel's topiary gardens. Located within Parq's custom-designed European kitchen is the Chef's Table, an exclusive experience for 12 guests with menus personally created by Cuevas.

Open for dinner, the intimate 44-seat Muse is a Beverly Hills restaurant that highlights Cuevas's "urbane American cuisine." An adjacent private dining room features a table for 20 as well as an adjoining private balcony overlooking the Montage gardens. Bordering the rooftop pool, The
Conservatory Grill offers all-organic options for breakfast and lunch and the Lobby Lounge serves traditional afternoon tea daily. Montage Beverly Hills also encompasses more than 9,000 square feet of private event and meeting space and a collection of world-class retail boutiques.

"I am delighted that the second hotel that continues our distinctive Montage brand of hospitality for the affluent traveler will soon come alive with staff and guests," said Fuerstman." Montage Beverly Hills stands as a dynamic tribute to our Associates' ability to deliver impeccable service with grace and style, and our management's skill at honoring our corporate vision to provide an experience with a unique sense and spirit of place."
