Rochester, New York - September 23, 2004 - Today Bi-Directional Integration with BDC Software's flagship BDC application and the Reynolds and Reynolds DMS system was tested successfully at Genesee Valley Motors. Genesee Valley Motors, a Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep dealership in Avon, New York, chose BDC software to develop a service bay load balancing application to meet the needs of the service department. Service departments are commonly overlooked in CRM solutions tailored to the automobile retailer. "We had been working with BDC Software on a service scheduling system for several months…the final piece of the puzzle was to push the service appointments made in the BDC application into our Reynolds and Reynolds system…BDC Software makes the scheduling of service appointments very easy. BDC has been great to work with…their service has been outstanding" said Robert Wooden, Service Director. Mr. Wooden has taken on the CRM project that will eventually spread out into all departments in the dealership. "BDC software also helps us meet our Daimler Chrysler's requirements for the Five Star Program…it connects all of the departments together". He is excited to improve the overall bottom line at the dealership by using this valuable tool.

BDC 2.1 helps manage dealerships showroom and service departments' work flow without any additional expensive software costs such as MS Office Licenses or a SQL server. It provides all the tools needed for dealerships to perform CRM duties.

"Integration with multiple applications so that dealerships can chose from the best of breed applications is our goal," said Business Development Concepts CEO, Eugene Gonzales. "A dealership can leverage our database technology which is open source to do almost anything they wish with the underlying data. We have BDC managers using all sorts of tools to perform various duties for the dealership such as web site and backend integration." The automobile retail industry is slowly moving towards open systems and going away from monolithic applications.
