Now More Than Ever, Support Matters for Women in the Financial Services Industry - Despite Turbulent Economic Times, Corporate Partners Support WIFS

Women in Insurance and Financial Services (WIFS), is proud to announce its 2009 Corporate Partners. For the 10th consecutive year of support, Mass Mutual is at the Diamond level of partnership. Also at the Diamond level is Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. This is Thrivent's 3rd consecutive year of supporting WIFS programs. Guardian, New York Life, Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and Prudential are at the Platinum level. These Platinum organizations have been supporting WIFS for 5 consecutive years.

All corporate financial support helps deliver programs and resources for WIFS members. "With the financial backing of our corporate partners who have consistently demonstrated their support, WIFS is excited to continue its efforts to encourage and advance the success of women in the financial services industry," says Sabine Robinson, CLU, 2008-2009 WIFS President. "2009 will be a year of tremendous growth for our organization as local chapters continue to launch in cities all across the country. Membership has grown 160% in the past four years exceeding the 1,000 member mark in 2008."

WIFS supports its members through mentoring, monthly training and motivational programs, educational resources, and an annual conference with exhibitors, presentations, and world-class speakers. The 2009 conference will be held from October 22-24, 2009 at the Marriott Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX and will be highlighted by keynote speaker Dr. Sally Ride, America's first female NASA astronaut.
