Rain Opens New Office in Downtown Manhattan

February 26, 2009 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Earlier this year Rain, a national leader in interactive development, opened the doors to its new office in New York. Located on Broadway, in the heart of midtown Manhattan, Rain is positioned right in the middle of the action-both literally and figuratively-giving Rain the perfect avenue into the largest corporations and advertising agencies in the world.

Heading the New York office is Rich Schafler. With 20 years experience in advertising and marketing, Schafler and his team are a perfect fit for Rain's new venture. Schafler's background includes experience as an executive producer at Grey, one of the largest global communications companies, and as a director of marketing communications at Airship International. Here is Schafler's take on the new relationship with Rain:

"Rain is a true leader and innovator in digital marketing, interactive and custom application development. Advertisers are facing an increasing need to embrace the digital world and partner with forward-thinking companies like Rain. Because Rain offers such an array of creative and interactive services we have an amazing resource to share with clients."

With its Utah and New York offices in place, Rain will have strategic access to the world's major markets. "This new office symbolizes the tremendous growth we've experienced in the past couple years and opens up a new and exciting chapter for Rain," said Andrew Howlett, Rain's President.

Rain's talent and innovation has consistently pushed the envelope of what the Internet can do. Some of the web's largest and most innovative applications have come out of their offices. Howlett notes, "We've just started scratching the surface of what the web can do. For example, we will be launching a new piano-teaching tool in the coming weeks that leverages Adobe's new desktop AIR technology and will completely change the way piano students practice. The future is very exciting!"
