HOME2US launches The Asia Network on its Direct-to-Home Satellite platform in the USA

Herndon, VA September 9, 2004 — Home2US Communications Inc, based in Herndon, Virginia, operator of a premier open pay television platform, and The Asia Network (TAN TV), a subsidiary of KBFD-TV of Honolulu, Hawaii, announced the launch of Korean TV channels in North America. Distributed via SES-Americom's AMC-4, TAN TV reaches the large Korean and Chinese community in the US via Home2US DTH platform.

TAN-TV, is a leading 24 hour Korean language television station in the U.S. featuring four of Korea's major television networks, KBS, MBC, SBS and YTN, which provide a wide range of traditional and modern dramas, mini-series, comedy, children's programming, and variety shows. Although TAN-TV is tailored to a Korean audience, some of its programming also appeals to Chinese and other Asian communities as well with over 38 percent of its programming featuring English subtitles.
