Standard Data Corporation and ACOM Solutions, Inc. Establish VAR Reseller Partnership Focused on ACOM's Document Management Solution
March 30, 2009 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology NewsJERSEY CITY, NJ, March 30, 2009 – Standard Data Corporation (SDC), a 50-year-old multi-division, multi-location software technology and ASP services firm, specializing in benefits administration systems and services for corporations, financial institutions and trade unions, has been named a value-added reseller (VAR) partner of ACOM Solutions, Inc, it was announced today by SDC Vice President Robert Tomaselli and ACOM Senior Vice President James R. Scott.
ACOM's extensive suite of corporate document management and payment solutions are all attractive to Standard Data, Tomaselli said, but for now, the company is focused on ACOM's EZContentManager (EZCM) solution, a browser-based, platform-independent system for the capture, management, storage and retrieval of documents and digital assets of all types. Standard Data will resell EZCM both as a customer in-house solution and as part of its ASP-based offering, through which it provides its clients an end-to-end benefits-processing solution.
"Image processing is a major component of what we do," Tomaselli said. "It is a major contributor to our revenue stream and a significant challenge to many of our customers. Prior to our relationship with ACOM, we used another company's imaging and document storage solution for several years. Standard Data's customer challenge is complex, Tomaselli said, and most of its clients are large with complex needs. Programs that its ASP and software systems manage include labor union benefit funds, health and welfare programs, insurance plans and annuities, employee remittances and labor union membership management.
