Minneapolis – April 30, 2009 – Jostens, a leader in yearbook publishing, has announced the release of its 2009 Gotcha Covered Look Book, Volume 7. Published annually, Jostens' Look Book is a collection of exceptional yearbook pages and covers created by yearbook staffs from across the country. The featured spreads represent visual storytelling at its finest. They demonstrate the important role well-crafted design plays in chronicling what is most relevant to students-shared memories, the diversity and richness of their experiences, and their connection to their friends, their teachers, and their school communities.

The Gotcha Covered Look Book is a popular reference guide for yearbook advisers and staffs seeking creative design and coverage ideas, trends and inspiration. The annual edition compliments Yearbook Avenue at Jostens.com, the destination Website for advisers and staffs.

2009 Gotcha Covered Look Book, Volume 7 continues the long-standing tradition of showcasing the best-of-the-best. Only 435 yearbooks were selected from the thousands submitted to a panel of judges that included nationally recognized scholastic journalism professionals and award-winning yearbook advisers.

"The yearbooks chosen for Jostens' 2009 Gotcha Covered Look Book exemplify advances in design, photography and journalistic excellence," said Gary Lundgren, Jostens senior program manager/education. "They reflect the sophistication and significance of today's yearbook programs and demonstrate why yearbooks remain so popular among students who have come of age during the digital revolution."

Yearbook staffs selected for inclusion in the 2009 Gotcha Covered Look Book received a copy of the Look Book and a certificate from Jostens to recognize their outstanding achievement.
