Anderman Ceramics has recently appointed a new sales manager to run its UK and expanding overseas sales operation. Mr Gary Hateley joined the company at the beginning of May to help the company continue the development of its markets both in the UK and outside Europe and North America.

Despite the current economic downturn the company is maintaining a positive outlook and continues to develop and improve its strategies for continued growth. It is believed that the skill sets that Gary will bring to the company will compliment and enhance those already within the organisation and helping to secure our future success.

Upon leaving school Gary moved to London from the Midlands to take up a scholarship with Crystal Palace football club. During his time with Crystal palace he played in the under 17 and under 19 teams together with the reserves before being offered a two year professional contract making his debut for Crystal palace against Birmingham city. Gary was also selected and played for the Welsh under 18s and under 21 teams. Unfortunately his professional career was cut short due to a serious knee injury. Gary still plays football at a semi-pro level in the midlands.

Whilst pursuing a career in football Gary was completing his education in both business studies and social science and social law. Upon leaving full time football Gary has continued to develop a business career rapidly moving up the ranks to sales manager, managing a team of both internal and external sales professionals.

His choice to join the team at Anderman Ceramics will enable him to further develop his skill set and to bring some new ideas into the company. Gary, together with his UK based sales team will be responsible for continued expansion of our sales activity in the UK and from our developing overseas markets.

The core business of Anderman is to design and supply specialist ceramic products for industrial applications. For over 60 years Anderman have been involved in this market and have traditionally been a UK based company. We now have sales and distribution facilities in the UK, USA and France.

http://www.earthwaterfire.com was instigated as a global platform for the company in 2001. The site has continued to evolve over the years and is now established in English, Japanese, French, Korean, Spanish and Portuguese. Earthwaterfire.com allows the company to reach markets that were previously impractical for a small company like Anderman and has helped to develop a global customer base for the company.
