ABOUT MARK MCFARLAND:

Mark's father, Robert, worked on dirt late models in northern Virginia, allowing Mark to get his first taste of racing. By the time he strapped himself into his first go-kart at the age of 8 his love for the sport had firmly taken root.

Mark proved to be a quick study in go-karts and won often and in 1994 he closed that chapter of his racing career with seven national championships and twelve state championships.

In 1996 Mark again strapped hiself behind the wheel moving up to late model stock cars at Old Dominion Speedway. He finished 3rd in points while picking up four wins and garnering the Rookie of the Year award. With an impressive and successful career to date, Mark is currently running a full season of USAR Hooters Pro Cup in the Southern Division for JR Motorsports. Mark is excited to be working with JR Motorsports and looks forward to his 2006 NASCAR Busch Series Season in the #88 U.S.Navy Chevrolet.
