Santa Monica Orthodontist Makes Invisible Removable Aligners Available to Patients

LOS ANGELES, SANTA MONICA AND BEVERLY HILLS CALIFORNIA - The Santa Monica orthodontist Dr. Atoosa Nikaeen added a new type of removable braces in August to its list of appliances available to patients.

Nikaeen, now offers invisible removable aligners made by TP Orthodontics.

These aligners are more affordable than Invisalign invisible braces and are designed for less serious cases, such as minor anterior crowding or spacing, said the Santa Monica braces specialist. TP Orthodontics Laboratory Services manufactures a series of aligners and patients wear each aligner for a couple of weeks before graduating to the next, until treatment is completed.

"These aligners are ideal for people who don't have bite problems and would like to use aesthetic aligners to align their teeth," Nikaeen said.

"They can be removed when eating, for special occasions and for dental hygiene."

Although Nikaeen has been an Invisalign provider for years, she said that TP Orthodontics' price point would make them an attractive option to patients with mild orthodontic problems.
