Diamonds International, the world's largest duty free jeweler, has launched DiamondsInternational.org, a charity site focused on community outreach, fundraising and sponsorships for communities that are home to DI cutting, polishing and retail locations worldwide.

According to Isaac Klugmann, V.P. of eCommerce for DI, "We support a number of causes, from local charities that serve our various communities around the globe to cancer research and congenital heart defects. The purpose of DiamondsInternational.org is to raise awareness of the causes we support, and in particular, to shine a spotlight on the needs of the communities we serve."

Diamonds International has made over a quarter of a million dollars in donations over the last three years in addition to community outreach and volunteerism, something the company is very passionate about, according to Klugmann. "Our goals for charitable giving go beyond monetary, and we stress the importance of community involvement in each of our locations. From the regional and store managers down, we try very hard to set a personal and organizational example of how a company and its employees can make a positive difference in the lives of the people in our communities."

Diamonds International was founded in St. Thomas in 1986, and has since grown to over 125 locations worldwide. Visit DiamondsInternational.org for more information on the charities supported by Diamonds International.
