Due to take place in the iconic Papal Basilicas of Rome, the event is set to be held between November 18th and 22nd and will be run in cooperation with Euro Via Festival 2009 and palatia Classic, the International Classic Music Festival of the Palatinate.

Hundred of year old, the Basilicas include the site where - according to ancient tradition - Peter the apostle both died has martyr's death and was subsequently buried.

Highlights of the festival are likely to include a concert for an organ and orchestra to celebrate the inauguration of the Tamburini organ, which has undergone restoration.

The performance will take place on Sunday November 22nd at noon local time at the St. Ignatius Basilica and feature members of the Bayerischer Rundfunk Symphony Orchestra, which is based in Munich.
