MNNEAPOLIS, Minn. - December 5, 2009 – Jostens, a leader in helping people tell their stories, has collaborated with ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" to create a Jostens Photo Book chronicling the program's build of a new home for the Trina Scott family in Clarksville, Tennessee.

In 2002, Scott's husband David, a Clarksville police officer, was killed while on duty. In the aftermath, Scott found support from the group Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc. (C.O.P.S), an organization that helps surviving family members of officers killed in the line of duty. She started volunteering and, in 2003, became its president. She also continued to work full-time to support her three daughters, Leyla, 17, Deidie, 13, and Alethea, 11. Considerable financial strain was placed on this hard-working widow and single-mother when structural problems, caused by termites and water damage, began to affect her family's home.

When the producers of ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" learned of Trina's plight, they stepped in to build the Scott family a new home. Employees from Jostens' Clarksville, Tennessee and Topeka, Kansas printing plants teamed with Clarksville-based lead builder Don Duncan of Duncan & Duncan to chronicle the event as it happened.

The Scott Family "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" Photo Book highlights the Scott family's story and honors the contributions made by "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" volunteers and sponsors who contributed time, money, energy and enthusiasm to the build. The "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" episode featuring the Scott's new home airs on December 6, 2009.

Jostens provided copies of the Photo Book to the sponsors of the Clarksville, TN build to recognize and celebrate the contributions of the people who made it happen. Photos for the book were selected from more than 15,000 images shot from the door knock on Saturday, October 17 through the reveal on Friday, October 23. Photography of the project was provided by Truepix Productions and MediaWorks under the direction of MediaWorks.
