LateRooms.com can announce that the environment and ways of being more eco-friendly are increasingly becoming a priority around the world and this is no different in Germany.

If people staying at hotels in Berlin have a green conscience and think it is important to save the planet, one event taking place in the city could give them a few handy hints and tips.

From January 15th until the 24th, International Green Week Berlin will be showing visitors how the food, agriculture and horticulture industries are adapting to care for the environment.

Taking place at the Messe Berlin, there will be a variety of exhibitions based around national, regional or product themes and many tradesmen use the time as an opportunity to test their latest creations and see which items of food go down well with the punters.

Some of the delicious delights on display will include sausages and meats, seafood, teas, herbs and spices, seeds and a variety of beers, wines and spirits.

A day ticket for the show costs €12 (£10.80) or €7 for concessions. It is open from 10:00 until 18:00 local time, apart from January 16th, 22nd and 23rd, when the exhibition will close at 20:00.

Commenting on International Green Week Berlin, Jessica Reading, head of marketing for LateRooms, said: "We strongly urge people thinking of going to International Green Week Berlin and who need hotel Berlin to book early to avoid disappointment."

Messe Berlin is also playing host to Fruit Logistica at the beginning of February and 5 elements.berlin, which is a tradeshow for beachwear, spas and all kinds of relaxing activities such as yoga.
