LateRooms.com can announce that there are plenty of impressive museums and galleries waiting to for people staying at accommodation in Paris to explore.

However, if they are looking for something a little quirkier and modern, then an exhibition taking place in February may be of interest.

Paris Manga will be held at Espace Champerret on February 6th and 7th and although the Japanese animation may have originated in the Far East, this just goes to show that it is very popular in Europe, too.

This is the ninth time the event has taken place and it is completely dedicated to the art form, featuring all kinds of games, toys and merchandising to amuse visitors.

As well as picking up a present for any friends who are fans of Manga, people can enjoy some exclusive screenings at the event.

It is open every day from 09:30 until 19:00 local time and a day ticket costs €9 (£8.08) or €8.50 in advance. If visitors are keen to spend two days at the expo, they can pick up a pass for €17 or €16 in advance. Children under the age of eight get in free.

Espace Champerret is a large exhibition space in Paris and over 900 events are hosted there every year.

Commenting on Paris Manga, Jessica Reading, head of marketing for LateRooms, said: "We strongly urge people thinking of going to Paris Manga and who need hotels Paris to book early to avoid disappointment"
