The Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce is excited to bring the central Indiana business community Clare Coxey and Elaine Voci, Ph.D., and their acclaimed "Power of Authentic Leadership" workshop, Thursday, September 22, at the 5th Floor Terrace of One Indiana Square (NE corner of Ohio and Pennsylvania streets). This one-day dynamic and interactive program is geared towards mid- to senior-level managers looking to enhance their leadership and their organization's performance. Attendees will leave with a greater sense of their innate leadership power and easy steps to apply at work.

Coxey and Voci are nationally recognized speakers with more than a half century of experience between the two of them. Coxey is a national speaker on strategic employee matters and leads a strategic consulting practice, while Voci brings more than 25 years of experience in a diverse career that has spanned three continents. She is the author of two books and a popular speaker/mentor who has pioneered and defined industry best practices for e-learning, training and development, and creating workplaces that support and honor the human spirit. More information on Coxey and Voci can be found at spiritinleadership.com and elainevoci.com, respectively.

The “Power of Authentic Leadership” is an experiential leadership development workshop that provides an exploration of the inner qualities of authentic leadership. It will be a powerful, practical and dynamic learning experience. Participants are those who wish to transform themselves into more authentic, sensitive and effective leaders.

Jon King, CEO of Aquaperfect, attended the same workshop in June of this year, and had this to say about the program: “I enjoyed tremendously the workshop on leadership conducted by Clare and Elaine recently. It was different than the typical workshop because it was participatory as opposed to a lecture and it allowed you to reflect on the 'soft differentiators' of leadership, as opposed to the 'do-these-three-things-to-be-more-effective' kind of approach."

In addition, Kelli J. Jack, owner and journalist for Lines, Inc. Communications and morning show co-host for WTPI Radio 107.9, attended and said, “I thought I’d seen and heard it all as far as workshops on leadership, but Clare and Elaine certainly opened my eyes to some new ideas. Their workshop didn’t try to change my leadership style, but look at it from the inside out. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is tired of the traditional training!”

An early-bird registration fee of $199 for Chamber members and $299 for non-members is available until Sept. 14. After that date, registration is $249 for members and $349 for non-members. Space is limited, so attendees are encouraged to register quickly at events.indychamber.com or by contacting Susan Blevins at sblevins@indylink.com or (317) 464-2231.
