LateRooms.com can announce that during their stay at hotels in Naples many people may be eager to explore the areas surrounding the city and get a real taste for Italian life in the region.

If this is the case, then one event occurring in nearby Salerno may be just the ticket.

The small, coastal city, which is located just south of Naples in the western area of Campania, is home to the Young Culture Festival, which takes place from April 14th to 19th 2010.

It encompasses a range of popular cultural mediums, such as cinema, music and multimedia and is held every year.

As part of the event, visitors can enjoy the Linee d'Ombra Salerno Film Festival, as well as a series of evening concerts put on by impressive and well established artists.

Some of the DJS that will be performing and meeting with the public to swap ideas and opinions are Alessio Bertallot, Akufen and Kangding Ray.

If people prefer to expand their horizons and experience something new, then they are also catered for, as there will be a music contest that is open to emerging European bands.

The multimedia aspect of the festival is covered by challenges such as Poetry on SMS.

Commenting on the Young Culture Festival, Jessica Reading, head of marketing for LateRooms, said: "We strongly urge people thinking of going to the Young Culture Festival and who need hotel Napoli to book early to avoid disappointment"
