It is open daily from 10:00 until 19:00 local time and entry costs 8 (£7), or 1 for pre-registered attendees.

Some of the big-name brands that will be displaying their products include Sony, Panasonic and Nikon.

When they have visited the exhibition, tourists may be keen to test out their new photography equipment by snapping a few of Rome's beautiful and famous landmarks, such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon or the Trevi Fountain.

Building work on the Fiera di Roma first began in April 2004 and the venue is described as an "efficient and futuristic new centre for promoting trade".
