AsiaRooms.com divulges tickets are now on sale for the Sydney Royal Easter Show, which brings some of the finest products of Australian agriculture to the New South Wales city.

The show runs from Thursday April 1st to Wednesday April 14th, giving people using accommodation in Sydney plenty of opportunities to experience the event.

Featuring everything from food exhibitions to wood-chopping contests and a carnival full of rollercoasters and other thrilling rides, the show aims to cater for a range of tastes.

Michael Collins, general manager of the event, said that it represents a great excuse for a family day out.

He pointed to a new event on the show programme, the Excellence in Agriculture day, which will provide families with "the chance to meet some of our country exhibitors, learn the secrets of life on the land and find out what it takes to bring some of Australia's best produce and animals to Sydney".

However, the star attraction at this year's show is expected to be Robosaurus, the "metal-munching monster with a high iron diet".

This 12-metre tall robotic dinosaur is set to give a memorable performance by hoisting cars into the air, tearing them to pieces with its teeth and belching flames.

Tickets for the Royal Easter Show are priced at AU$33 (£19) for adults, with concessions entering for AU$26 and children paying AU$22.
