LateRooms.com highlights people who have booked Munich hotels in April could find that their visit coincides with the city's Verzaubert Film Festival, which pays tribute to homosexuality in the cinema.

Running over one weekend - April 17th and 18th - organisers will show a host of movies from around the world which all tackle the subject of gay relationships in a variety of ways.

Offerings from America include the comedy Make the Yuletide Gay from director Rob Williams and the touching story of two women in love in Hannah Free.

Movies from Spain and Canada also feature in what promises to be a full weekend of exciting cinema.

In addition to the film showings, there will also be a special event, Gay Propaganda Night, when a series of short films will be screened at one of Munich's cinemas.

As well as entertainment ranging from funny to sad, there is also an interval when guests can help themselves to coffee and cakes

Tickets for individual films cost €8 (£7.21), while entry to the Gay Propaganda Night starts from €9.50.

Commenting on the movie event, Jessica Reading, head of marketing for LateRooms, said: "We strongly urge people thinking of going to the Verzaubert Film Festival and who need hotels München to book early to avoid disappointment."
