Baltimore, Maryland – (March 12, 2010) – The Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel near the Baltimore World Trade Center is bringing the work of celebrated photographer Frank Capri to the city's World Trade Center March 6-31, 2010. Frank Capri's name may not ring any bells, except to those who have followed photography in-and-out of New York City over the past 20 years; however, Frank Capri's photo images make him an internationally recognized artist. From subways to respected art galleries, Capri's work has been the topic of conversation over the years. His celebrity, fashion, and dance photography joins the many cannons of respected visual art and includes intimate poses of famous names such as Sarah Jessica Parker and The Dali Lama, as well as dance icons Mikhail Baryshnikov and Julie Kent.

Capri started his career in Los Angeles where he was among the top photographers in the city working with A-List celebrities. His background also includes motion picture and television photography as well as supplying work for major publications including Time, Newsweek, The New York Times, Harper's Bazaar, Dance Magazine and many others.

"Even though I thoroughly enjoy photographing celebrities, I've always wanted to do more fine art photography," explains Capri. "For me that means photographing ballerinas and modern dancers. If you want to evolve, you have to break out of your comfort zone and try something new."

"We are delighted to be part of this one man exhibit at the Baltimore World Trade Center," explains Chris Orr, Director of Sales and Marketing for the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel. "It is our commitment to the community to bring cultural, important work like Frank's to our city so you don't have to travel to New York to see his work. It's right in your own backyard."

Sponsorship for the one man Baltimore photography exhibit is also provided by renowned makeup artist, Kim Gray. Gray works as a resident makeup artist and coordinator for Maryland based Kustoms Looks Clothier. Gray says of her profession, "The true essence of beauty comes from within. Makeup only serves to enhance what dwells in the soul."
