Toledo, OH – Combustion Controls Solutions & Environmental Services, Inc. – a Toledo, OH environmental control firm concentrating on the design, installation and repair of air pollution abatement equipment –has expanded into the manufacture of green technology while employing local tradesmen.

With over 15 years of experience in air pollution abatement, CCS&ES moved forward with further investment in the manufacture and fabrication of pollution control equipment. Specifically, the company specializes in the installation and servicing of thermal oxidizers – equipment used to eliminate some of the most caustic air pollutants resulting from heavy manufacture and refining.

The company employs Toledo-area tradesmen to build heat-exchanging devices, enabling greater efficiency for the pollution controls in these precision devices. The first of these heat-exchange units shipped in 2008, followed by the CCS&ES making and investment in the manufacture of industrial combustion, including regenerative thermal oxidizers and igniter assemblies.

These precision parts extend the reach of CCS&ES into the green technology market while employing Ohio workers in an expanding industry. In addition to the fabrication division, CCS&ES also established a combustion controls department that constructs industrial control panels.

CCS&ES was awarded the Business Achievement Award – Gold Medal by the Environmental Business Journal in 2006. The company is a proud member of the Air and Waste Management Association and Toledo-area Chamber of Commerce.

CCS&ES is committed to forming partnerships with other local business and employs local vendors for required materials – ranging from steel and aluminum to electronics and heavy machinery.

Recognizing the impact of the current economic climate on businesses both in Ohio and across the nation, CCS&ES wants to work together with local companies to improve economic prospects with innovation in environmental controls. This growing sector, recognized by the federal government as a driver to economic recovery, presents an opportunity to take a step forward with the same industrial design that made the United States a world power in manufacturing.
