AsiaRooms.com divulges anyone who is staying in accommodation in Phuket at the end of April could be in for a musical treat.

On April 30, the Town Square at the Royal Phuket Marina will be taken over by a host of musicians and performers for all to enjoy.

The event is being run in conjunction with the Lions Club of Phuket and it promises jazz, dance and a host of other entertainment for the evening.

In addition, a display of "Old Phuket" photography will be on show for visitors to browse at their leisure. According to the organisers, it offers "a perfect opportunity to take you back to days gone by".

The club hopes to raise money for the Ray of Hope charity, which is used to help children in need on Phuket.

People staying in accommodation in Thailand can wander down to the event from 18:00 (local time), with all the fun and frivolity set to last until 23:30.

Entry costs 500 baht (£10.40) and the price of the ticket includes a glass of wine and finger food.

The Royal Phuket Marina regularly hosts events in the local area, including football fun days, exhibitions and themed evening entertainment.

On April 2nd, a new exhibition called Day-Night and Day is set to open at the venue, showcasing a range of works by Nguyen Tan Cuong.
