DirectRooms.com reports that the 25th annual Singapore Book Fair will be taking place in Singapore in 2010. The venue will be held on the fourth level of the SUNTEC Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 28th to June 6th, 2010.

The Singapore Book Fair is the largest book fair in the city, with over 300,000 book titles for sale, and over 100 exhibitors from 11 different Asian countries. It is a showcase of literature that includes not only books for sale but also storytelling sessions, book signings, a variety of games and craft demonstrations and workshops, and other literary related functions.

The 2009 Singapore Book Fair had over 500,000 visitors, and the crowd is expected to be even larger for 2010. Individuals looking to attend the Singapore Book Fair should book their hotels in Singapore as soon as possible to avoid running into vacancy issues.

The 2010 Singapore Book Fair will provide participants with a variety of activities, including book signings with popular Asian authors, folk singing competitions for primary school participants, and journalism and creative writing workshops. Industry professionals and readers will be in attendance, allowing fans and professionals to rub shoulders, and spread the love of literature.

The event is organised by the Marshall Cavendish Business Information group in conjunction with Singapore Press Holdings, and focuses on children and adults alike, providing local and international visitors with seminars and workshops in both English and Mandarin.
