AsiaRooms.com highlights tea-lovers are set to descend on Shanghai in May for the city's Tea Culture Festival.

Anyone who enjoys settling down with a warm brew may want to consider booking Shanghai hotels and spending a day among the exhibitors at the INTEX Shanghai.

Tea experts and producers are on-hand to give visitors advice about the best tea leaves to use to help with particular health issues, as well as to offer samples of hundreds of different types of tea.

Some of the exhibitors will also put on tea ceremonies for attendees to take part in or just watch, as well as offering displays of poetry, calligraphy dance all inspired by or dedicated to the beloved hot beverage.

There are also a number of special events taking place over the four-days, including a Tea Appreciation Contest and a Tea Package Design Contest.

According to What's On When, visitors will leave the festival "feeling tranquil and equally refreshed".

People staying in the city will be able to head down to the event between May 21st and May 24th.

From the Friday to the Sunday, it will be open from 09:30 until 17:00 (local time), while on the Monday visitors will only be able to gain entry between 09:00 and 14:30.
