Atlanta – Georgia entrepreneurs are embracing a new website designed to match them with angel investors from their home state. This week, FundingGeorgia.com will register its 100th user, marking a period of rapid growth for the 3-month-old website.

FundingGeorgia.com is an online meeting place where Georgia entrepreneurs looking for start-
up capital may submit their business plans to independent investors in the Peach State. Entrepreneurs register on the site and upload their business plans at no cost. Accredited angel investors who sign up for a free FundingGeorgia.com membership review the posted plans and contact the entrepreneurs with promising business plans.

Angel investors with more than $15 million in investment capital have registered on FundingGeorgia.com, and 20 business plans have been posted. FundingGeorgia.com co-founder Paul Allen says he expects many more angel investors to register on the site.

“We feel that we have created an unequalled solution for angel groups and independent angel investors who are looking for increased dealflow,” Allen said. “We look forward to providing this free service to angels in Georgia and in other states throughout the South.”

FundingGeorgia.com is one of 51 FundingUniverse.com sites that serve as online forums where entrepreneurs and angel investors link up. The site is the only business plan posting site offering its services to both angel investors and entrepreneurs at no cost.
