Sax Gets Rich And Soars Up The Charts

Hollywood, CA—Scot Sax, lead singer-songwriter for pop-rock band Feel (formerly Wanderlust) has found himself in the unlikely place of Country's Top 40.

6 years ago Scot Sax of Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania moved to Los Angeles to pursue songwriting. Within 2 weeks his self-penned and performed "I am The Summertime" found it's way into the blockbuster flick American Pie.

Not long after that, he and his band toured the states and Sax decided to make an impromptu stop in Nashville to "drop off copies of a new song I had written called Got Your Name On It to anyone who would listen." One of the CD's landed in John Rich's hand and Rich (now of Big and Rich) was so impressed that he flew to Los Angeles to hook up with Sax to write together.

Joined by Rich's frequent co-writer Vicky McGehee, the three wrote a song called "Like We Never Loved At All" at Scot's apartment. Through John Rich's persistence, the demo (produced and mostly performed by Sax w/ Rich on vocals) landed in the hand of Ms. Hill and now appears on her new CD "Fireflies" and was just released as the second single off the already platinum album. Recorded as a duet with husband Tim McGraw the melodic tearjerker track is quickly climbing the charts.

Scot Sax will appear with Faith Hill and John Rich on Faith's NBC Thanksgiving Special for a live performance of the song.

In the meantime, Scot and his bandmates in FEEL are recording their third album to be released in 2006.
