Shopaholics with a particular love for footwear are sure to enjoy the Australian Shoe Fair, which strides into Melbourne at the end of the month.

Running between August 29th and 31st 2010 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, the bi-annual trade show for the footwear industry is now in its fourth year.

Since its launch, countless new products and ranges have been unveiled at the expo, which makes it a must-see event for people staying at hotels in Melbourne who are desperate to have their finger on the pulse of the latest trends.

A huge variety of shoes will be featured throughout the three-day event, meaning that there should be something to suit everyone who attends. Organisers have promised that visitors will be treated to a sneak preview of all the latest releases in bridal, business, designer, casual and evening shoes, plus many more styles.

Niche sectors such as orthopaedic footwear will also be covered, while the likes of Donatella Vichante, Empire Uggs and La Lu La Lu are among the confirmed exhibitors.

Anyone planning to step out from some of the budget accommodation Melbourne has on offer to visit the expo can get in from 10:00 local time on the opening day. Entry will be allowed an hour earlier on the following two days.

For more information on this event, visit the Australian Shoe Fair website or contact the organisers on (+61) 3 9654 5596.
