Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery experienced a record-setting first half of 2010, registering the fasting growing traffic since the site's launch.

In July Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery reached 2 million unique visitors for the year, a 54 percent increase over 2009, according to Google Analytics. The record-breaking high bests the 2009 record for the site, which did not attain 2 million visits until mid-December. About 91 percent of visits were generated from search engines, an indication that the site's audience is comprised of highly targeted visitors.

"We are so pleased with our growing traffic. We feel it reflects our enhanced focus on improving content and providing comprehensive coverage of the top cosmetic surgery procedures; their risks, recovery and results, as well as increased coverage of the latest advances in this field," says Denise Mann, Editorial Director of Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery.

Additionally, use of the site's cosmetic surgeon directory is up 15 percent over the last year, while page views of the before-and-after gallery have increased 35 percent. The most popular articles on the site continue to be those featuring breast implants, tummy tuck cost, laser scar removal and breast lift cost.

Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery is produced by Ceatus Media Group, an online publisher of consumer health information portals. Recent additions to the site's 250+ pages of up-to-date, board-reviewed content include articles related to Butt Implants, Breast Augmentation, Gummy Bear Breast Implants and Xeomin, which was recently approved by the FDA.
