On Saturday, August 28th, TheAUTSPOTfoundation will be the highlight of their largest charity event, as they team up with OneHope wine to host a gala at the Brooklawn mansion in Beverly Hills. Over 300 guests are expected to be a part of this black tie event, which is aimed at spreading autism awareness and providing support to families in the autism community. The mission of TheAUTSPOTfoundation is to raise funds to help sponsor therapies and interventions for children on the autism spectrum. Long Beach native, Jane King, is a single mother raising a three year old, non-verbal son with autism named Tafari. Early intervention is a very important part of Tafari's life, and Jane does everything she can to pull money together so that he can receive his speech and behavioral therapy. However, getting the money together can be difficult for Jane at times, so the TheAUTSPOTfoundation has decided to donate all of the money gained from the event to Jane and her family, so that they can provide Tafari with the necessary amount of hours of speech and behavioral therapy.

This event is significant, because it gives the TheAUTSPOTfoundation the chance to spread a sense of autism awareness to many young adults who are unfamiliar with autism spectrum disorders. When speaking about the event, Jane mentioned, "Many young adults are not familiar with autism, because it's a disorder that is just beginning to become prevalent in young children."

A pre-fundraising event press conference will take place at 8:00 p.m. and all media is welcome to come cover the event. Just be sure to RSVP for a press pass. The event will kick off at 9:00 p.m. and all the guests will enjoy Hors d' oeuvres, ball room dancing, and a slide show of Jane, Tafari, and her family. For those who cannot attend the event and would like to provide support or donations to TheAUTSPOTfoundation and its cause, please feel free to visit www.TheAUTSPOTfoundation.org.
