Vacation in Sunriver While Helping Victims of Hurricane Katrina

Sunset Realty, a Sunriver vacation rental company, will be donating 10% of the gross rents collected to the American Red Cross for the victims of Hurricane Katrina or Rita on any new reservations of two nights or more made for the weekend of Oct. 7-9, 2005.
After the initial disaster, we set up a cash collection box in our lobby area, but felt that as a company we could do more” says Scott Pence, the owner of Sunset Realty. “It’s simple…if you’re interested in coming to Sunriver for a quick weekend vacation getaway, make a reservation of 2 nights or more over October 7-9th, and we’ll donate 10% of the gross nightly rental rate for the entire stay.”
The weekend of October 7-9, was particularly chosen because of the close proximity of the event being promoted by the Oregon Restaurant Association. On October 5th, restaurant goers can dine at participating restaurants and a percentage of the proceeds or profits will be donated to the American Red Cross.
Sunset Realty has encouraged other Sunriver businesses such as restaurants, shops and other lodging companies alike to participate in offering a donation of their profits over the same weekend. What could be more fun than enjoying a warm fall weekend in Sunriver, while helping out those who are less fortunate?
