The new program has been introduced at the request of numerous Transnet customers that are anxious to make the transition to the PayKiosks network. According to Scott McInnes, President of PayKiosks Internet Terminals, “The amount of calls from Transnet Wireless customers looking to migrate their terminals to our Internet terminal network has increased dramatically over the past couple of weeks. We’ve introduced this program in response to this demand.”

The program will allow Transnet Wireless customers to receive all of the benefits of being a PayKiosks client. These benefits include membership in one of the largest Wi-Fi networks in North America, 24/7 Network Operation Center monitoring, turnkey credit card processing, technical support, and wireless network design and installation.

Transnet Wireless customers who purchase additional terminals from PayKiosks will be allowed to transition terminals from Transnet’s network at no cost. Customers that do not purchase new terminals from PayKiosks will be charged a one-time setup fee per terminal.

Both companies manufacture their terminals at the same facility in Southern California and utilize many common hardware components. According to Scott McInnes, President of PayKiosks Internet Terminals, “The fact that we’re very familiar with the Transnet Internet terminal will definitely make it easier for our technicians and support staff. We’ve taken over their terminals in the past and are glad to be able to step in and help out in a big way.”
