A record number of international students applied for the scholarships this year. Says Kimberly Walker, IECA Promotions Coordinator, “We were really excited about the response we received this year. We had applicants representing eight different countries on five continents. It really shows that IECA is becoming a worldwide presence in the industry.”

The winning students will be given the opportunity to increase their knowledge of the industry, meet key professionals in their field, and attend the world's largest erosion and sediment control expo. IECA hopes this will increase the students' interest and provide insight into career opportunities available within the erosion and sediment control community.

The scholarship is awarded annually and is open to all graduate and undergraduate students who are studying a related field at a recognized university, college, or technical school. Full details can be found on the IECA web site at www.ieca.org.
