Georgia Firm to Introduce New Nano-Testing Technology with Applications for the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industries

ATLANTA - Georgia-based MVA Scientific Consultants, and international instrument manufacturer Micro Materials Ltd., announced today that they have joined forces in a Strategic Alliance to promote The Nano TestTM – the first commercial instrument used for quantitative nano-scale materials characterization. Micro Materials’ Nano TestTM instrument has applications in a wide range of industries where erosive wear, toughness and contact fatigue are important. These industries include automotive, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and others that make use of thin films and coatings.

Micro Materials’ NanoTest™ is recognized as the market leader in Asia and Europe over the last 10 years and has chosen MVA Scientific Consultants to serve as its official Demonstration and Support Site for the Nano TestTM technology in the US market. “The NanoTest has been extremely successful in Europe but is still relatively unknown in the US. The alliance with MVA Scientific Consultants gives us the opportunity to bring the instrument to the attention of a much wider audience.
