OSBORNE, KS – RIM and RTM leader Osborne Industries Inc. is pleased to announce the hiring of Jason Rash, who holds a bachelor's degree in plastics engineering technology from Kansas' Pittsburg State University.

"We're eager for Jason to learn the more intricate aspects of RIM and RTM molding to see how we can convert his knowledge of thermoplastics into useful processes and materials for our thermoset processes," said George Eakin, Vice President of Operations.

Rash also holds an associate's degree in automotive collision technology from North Central Kansas Technical College, which Osborne Industries officials expect will contribute to the company's mold and pattern manufacturing capabilities.

His current duties include work as a draftsperson, providing drawings and documentation. Rash has been doing CAD work developing parts from initial phase, providing some mold design, and upgrading existing products.

Future responsibilities will include RIM molding and tool engineering. "Jason also will serve as a back-up for our CNC programming, as our business continues to grow," Eakin said.

The 2010 Kansas Governor's Exporter of the Year, Osborne Industries is a leading custom plastics molder, providing cutting edge RIM, RTM and pDCPD molding.
