WOMADelaide is returning to the South Australia capital next month and is an opportunity for music fans to attend a festival with a difference.

It features performances and workshops from some of the world's best singers, dancers, musicians and DJs across seven different stages.

Street theatre, fine food - courtesy of the Taste the World cooking programme - and visual arts are also on the bill.

Acts from across the world have been lined up to play at WOMADelaide. Some of the big names include the UK's Afro Celt Sound System and Norman Jay, The Creole Choir of Cuba, Joanna Newsom from the US and Canada's Martha Wainwright.

Demand for tickets is likely to be high, after last year's event saw more than 81,500 people attend.

WOMADelaide takes place from March 11th to 14th 2011 at Adelaide's Botanic Park. Performances run from 18:00 to midnight local time on the opening day and between midday and midnight for the rest of the event.

Four-day passes cost AU$295, although concessionary rates and discounts for group bookings are available.

Camping is not permitted in the park grounds, but festival-goers looking for last minute hotel deals near the site can find a wide range of Adelaide hotels at LateRooms.com.
